IBC Advanced Alloys Appoints Kevin Raftery as Special Advisor to Beralcast®

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 10, 2010) - IBC Advanced Alloys Corp. (TSX VENTURE:IB) ("IBC" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has appointed Kevin Raftery as a Special Advisor to the Company's Beralcast® division. He is one of the co-inventors of Beralcast® technology and is named on US Patents 5,603,780 and 5,421,916. Mr. Raftery's advisory services will focus on assisting the Company with its Beralcast® marketing and operating plan as well as helping to develop the longer-term business strategy for Beralcast®.

Mr. Raftery is currently the Director of Tactical Reconnaissance Systems for ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems for a Fortune 500 company which is a leading global supplier of systems and services to the aerospace and defense industry. He has direct experience and understanding of Beralcast's many aerospace, military and commercial applications and is a strong supporter of the advanced beryllium aluminum alloy's potential.
