Iberian Minerals Corp.-Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 11, 2008) - Iberian Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:IZN) ("Iberian")

Iberian Minerals Corp. (the "Company") announces that on Tuesday June 9th the Company held its Annual and Special Meeting of Shareholders. The Company is pleased to report that shareholders voted in favour of all proposed resolutions of management set forth in the information circular sent to shareholders in connection with this meeting.

Shareholders elected the Board of Directors of the Company for the ensuing year, consisting of Daniel Vanin, Norman Brewster, Jeremy Weir, Jesus Fernandez, Murray John, Thomas Savage, and Jack Gunter. Additionally shareholders confirmed the appointment of Ernst & Young LLP, Chartered Accountants to act as auditors of the Company for the ensuing year, and voted in favour of the Company's "rolling" stock option plan.
