IBM Retail Store Solutions Earns Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Award

LAS VEGAS, NV -- (MARKET WIRE) -- May 3, 2007 -- The IBM Retail Store Solutions group today announced that it received the North and South American Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Award 2007. IBM (NYSE: IBM) received this award for Windows Embedded Point of Service this week at Microsoft Corp.'s Mobile & Embedded Developers Conference.

The Windows Embedded Partner Excellence Awards, previously called the Windows Embedded Partner of the Year Awards, recognizes visionaries and organizations around the world that use technology in an innovative and creative manner.
