IBM Signs Services Deal With STAR India

Company to Focus on Media and Entertainment Space in India

NEW DELHI, INDIA--(Marketwire - April 15, 2009) - IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced an agreement with STAR India, a wholly owned subsidiary of STAR, a leading media and entertainment company in Asia, to implement SAP® ECC 6.0 application encompassing all major business processes.

The deal will increase process efficiency, enabling STAR India to enhance customer experience and drive greater control over net margin. The deal also marks a cohesive and systematic approach by IBM India and IBM Hong Kong -- demonstrating unmatched extent of experience and talent within IBM to effectively undertake varied ERP implementations across the globe.
