IC Places Teams With FunnyBrand777 Productions to Create "Static," a Made for TV Sketch Comedy Show

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 22, 2011) - IC Places Inc. (OTCQB: ICPA), owners of, announced today that it entered into a Production agreement with FunnyBrand777 Productions to create "Static," a sketch comedy TV Show.

"Static" began pre-production September of 2011. The show will be shot at Hi Point Studios in Los Angeles, home of IC Places' West Coast Production Offices.

"One of our long term goals at IC Places was to reach the TV audience," said Steven Samblis, Chairman of IC Places, Inc. "To be a true media company you have to deliver content across a broad spectrum of touch points. With the creation of Static, we will now reach people on their computers, mobile devices, while eating in the top quick service restaurants in the US (through partnership with IndoorDIRECT) and in people's homes. Most importantly, by teaming up with the amazingly talented Brandon Gibson and his production company we will deliver a hilarious show of the highest quality."

"Static" will air on a national TV network. IC Places, FunnyBrand777 Productions and the TV network will share the commercial revenues from the show nationally.

About the show:
"Static" is an edgy, no holds barred look at the world and everyone in it. Dubbed as "ADD Theater," "Static" takes you on a ride from channel to channel and from...oh look, something shiny! The unique and vastly experienced cast & writers go where other sketch comedy shows stop short, attacking everything that the politically correct say is out of bounds. An exciting mix of In Living Color, Upright Citizens Brigade and a little Monty Python sprinkled in for good measure, "Static" will set a new standard for the world of sketch comedy on television.

Actors attached to the show:
Brandon Gibson - Creator, director & star (Disney's Prank Stars, Nickelodeon's The Fresh Beat Band, MTV's Yo Momma)

Brandon Brooks (CSI, NBC's Malibu, CA)

"I'm really excited to get the chance to develop this show with Steven Samblis and IC Places," said Brandon Gibson, founder of FunnyBrand777 Production. "Steve and I have already worked on a few shows together but none are as large scale as this. We have a chance to redefine sketch comedy and set a new standard with this show.
