ICanLocalize Announces General Availability for Translation Management Services for Drupal

Systematic Translation Process Facilitates Running Multi-Lingual Drupal Sites

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - November 11, 2010) - ICanLocalize™, an innovative global provider of translation software and Web services for content management systems including WordPress and Drupal, announces the General Availability of its Translation Management Services for the Drupal Content Management System (CMS). After Beta testing, the solution was deemed stable and now powers hundreds of Drupal sites. The cost of translating a site into multiple languages and keeping the site current is lowered significantly with ICanLocalize.

"ICanLocalize Translation Management provides complete workflow management for multilingual Drupal sites," said Amir Helzer, CEO and founder of ICanLocalize. "Not only do global companies benefit from the ability to present content in the different languages that their customers speak, their content is always fresh and updated instantly on multiple sites."

Web project and content managers manage all translations from one central page within a Translation Dashboard. This gives a full overview of what needs changing in the Drupal site, including pages, posts, node contents, menus, taxonomy, blocks, custom types, CCK, interface string, and contact forms. It also translates images and other embedded items in content. Managers get a complete picture of the project status, saving time assigning jobs and tracking their progress.

Users can select their own translators, or choose from the ICanLocalize Translation Exchange where they can invite any or all ICanLocalize translators to bid on the work to be done. Once translators are selected, they receive notification and begin working inside the Unified Translation Editor, a powerful screen that features side-by-side editing, breaks documents into different fields and shows what has changed since the last translation.

ICanLocalize Translation Management cuts the work of the translators in half as they don't need to know anything about the Drupal CMS. It creates the multilingual fields, makes all the necessary connections between originals and translations, and manages inbound and outbound links as Drupal pages often link to one another and to off-site pages, ensuring the links go to the right language.

"The quality of work increases since translators only worry about the language portion and not the process," added Amir Helzer.
