ICAP Patent Brokerage Announces the Departure of CEO Dean Becker

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - November 11, 2015) - ICAP Patent Brokerage, the global leader in intellectual property brokerage, today announced a forward shift in organization as Dean Becker leaves his position at the company, while still maintaining an exclusive referral relationship. Becker, who has led the brokerage team for over ten years, is leaving ICAP IP to focus on purchasing, licensing, enforcement, and the defense of inventors' rights.

ICAP PB has a long history of working on behalf of inventors to assist in the monetization of their efforts, having represented hundreds of individual sellers over the past decade. Dozens of portfolios from physician inventors and other innovators are represented in the upcoming Cardiovascular Medical Auction, and the work of Dr. Charles Jacobus (of Cybernet) will be featured in ICAP Patent Brokerage's first Inventor-Driven auction (both scheduled for December 10^th, 2015).

ICAP Patent Brokerage will maintain its focus on driving patent "transaction market structure" to a more cost-effective market-based model, including private and public patent sales, sector-specific, inventor-driven and corporate auctions, such as the upcoming Foxconn Corporate Auction (scheduled for November 19^th, 2015). The brokerage will also continue to expand its Mark-to-Market Valuation offering, which has garnered interest from key industry players since its announcement in late September.
