Icon set to Drill Otish Property

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - April 28, 2008) - Icon Industries Limited ("ICON" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ICN) is pleased to announce that it is set to drill its Otish uranium project area (the "property"), located in the Otish Mountains of Central Quebec. As described in an earlier press release (ICN PR January 15, 2008), a high-resolution, airborne radiometric-magnetic survey undertaken late in 2007 by Geo Data Solutions Inc. ("GDS") succeeded in locating a number of "drill-ready" targets on the property. The reader is referred to the relevant maps on the Company's Website under the URL http://www.iconindustriesltd.com/s/Projects.asp.

The main target outlined by the GDS survey occurs through the middle of the larger 2x6 kilometer, northeast trending, high Uranium to Thorium ratio radiometric anomaly. At that location, a 2 kilometer east-west magnetic break (interpreted fault) coincides with the sharp, linear, northern boundary of a strong subsidiary radiometric anomaly (interpreted up-ice termination). At the east end of this target lies the Lac Henri boulder field, where 49 grab samples collected historically by Uranerz returned an average grade of 0.11% U3O8. ICON personnel examined this boulder field last summer and concluded the hydrothermal vein and breccia mineralization to be fault controlled. In addition they concluded, due to the angular nature of the boulders, that the source must be close - likely under the river. The river in this area forms an east-west linear as well, coincident with the GDS anomaly. Uranium hosted by east-west fault structures occurs at the Lac Beaver deposit 15 km southwest. Other interpreted faults to the north and east of the main target appear to be directly associated with their own portions of the main radioactive anomaly, and are therefore also considered highly prospective.

To test these GDS survey anomalies, a first phase, helicopter supported diamond drill program, consisting of 12-15 holes, 2500-3000 meters, will begin immediately after winter breakup. Major Drilling and Canadian Helicopters have been contracted, fuel is being positioned, and the ICON camp upgraded for the program's estimated two month duration. Drilling will take place about 20 km northwest of the Matoush deposit, where Strateco Resources recently (April 14th) announced its intention to go underground by mid-2009.
