iCrossing Appoints Chief Creative Officer

Award-Winning R/GA Alum Patrick Stern to Lead Global Creative Efforts

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Dec 12, 2011) - iCrossing (http://news.icrossing.com), a global digital marketing agency, announced today the appointment of Patrick Stern as chief creative officer, a newly-created position. He will lead iCrossing's global creative practice, building connected brands for CMOs by combining creativity with data-driven audience insight.

Stern has more than 15 years of experience developing award-winning online and offline creative for clients including Nike, Apple, Walmart, Jaguar, Kraft Foods and Dos XX. His work has earned hundreds of industry award recognitions, including several Cannes Lions and One Show Gold Pencils.

Prior to iCrossing, he served as vice president, executive creative director at R/GA, where he successfully managed the agency's Walmart account, inspiring a global team to drive innovation for the iconic brand. Before that, he was the creative director for digital at TBWA\Chiat\Day's Media Arts Lab, where he helped create the iconic "Get a Mac" campaign for Apple featuring "PC and Mac guys." He also helped create several global campaigns for iPod and iTunes. In an earlier role at R/GA, Stern led the Nike team responsible for all U.S. digital marketing initiatives.

Stern also launched his own company, 10x Studio, a digital design firm focused on leveraging technologies and open-source software to create sites that tap into the exploding connectedness of the Web. Earlier in his career, he held senior posts at Euro RSCG Worldwide and Organic, building creative campaigns for clients such as Volvo, Dos XX, Charles Schwab, Bank of America, Sirius Satellite Radio and Jeep.

Stern will be based in iCrossing's New York headquarters. He will report to Don Scales, president and chief executive officer, iCrossing.
