iCrossing Kicks Off Connected Digital Efforts for AEG

Integrated SEM Campaigns to Connect Music Fans With New Ticketing Platform

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Nov 14, 2011) - iCrossing (, a global digital marketing agency, announced today that it has been selected by Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), one of the leading sports and entertainment companies in the world, to help connect with entertainment lovers by driving awareness of AEG's new entertainment and ticketing platform,

iCrossing will develop connected paid search (SEM) campaigns to promote AEG's state of the art venues, including Los Angeles' Staples Center, and drive ticketing sales through for an array of events ranging from small indie rock bands to national tours like American Idol. For the first time, AEG will sell tickets direct to consumers, moving business away from Live Nation's Ticketmaster. This enables AEG to connect directly with fans, while providing centralized CRM services and core ticketing technologies.

iCrossing will utilize its proprietary Connected Marketing Platform to manage the large number of campaigns running simultaneously to keep AEG in top placements, through custom workflows, intelligent automation, decision support and performance reporting.

"The axs ticketing platform is new, so getting exposure within search is key," said Todd Sims, SVP Digital, AEG. "Partnering with iCrossing allows us to continue to build awareness of our events and venues, and drive sales."

iCrossing recently rolled out initial campaigns to promote musical acts at two iconic AEG venues in Denver -- the Ogden Theatre and Bluebird Theater. It will soon roll out campaigns supporting 18 regions and more than 25 AEG venues nationally.

"AEG recognizes the importance of being visible where its customers are, and engaging with them in ways they want," said Brian Powley, President, North America, iCrossing. "Having this integrated approach to digital is reflective of how companies must transition to become truly connected brands."
