ID Tag Inventor Joins MachineTalker®

Outwater to Focus on Products That Couple His Invisible Tag Technology Into MachineTalker's Wireless Security Networks

SANTA BARBARA, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 7, 2007 -- MachineTalker, Inc. (OTCBB: MTKN), developer of smart wireless security networks and tracking systems, today announced that Mr. Chris Outwater has joined the company as Director of Business Development. The holder of several patents covering new means for security and identification, Mr. Outwater has also turned many of his own inventions into viable commercial products. This unique background of technology development and sales is a strong asset for MachineTalker's ongoing revenue growth.

Introducing Chris Outwater, MachineTalker's CEO, Roland F. Bryan, said, "The Company recently acquired rights to combine Chris's optical marking technique with our wireless security and asset tracking networks. With his record of bringing ideas from concept to product sales we are very excited to have Chris join us at this time. We look forward to watching our revenue grow under his leadership."

Among his many successes in bringing technology products from concept to full production, Outwater founded a holography company that originated master security holograms used for protecting credit and debit cards, and to protect software programs on CDs and their boxes. This technique was eventually adopted by both of those industries as an anti-piracy technique and used on hundreds of millions of credit cards and software CDs and boxes. Later, he was the VP of Technology for DNA Technologies and there developed patented techniques used to protect hundreds of millions of labels for high-end clothing manufacturers.

A graduate of the University of California at San Diego, Mr. Outwater is the holder of five patents in the optical product security field and has served in senior management positions in many developing and established companies. He has delivered industry and keynote talks at optical security and anti-counterfeiting conferences in Tokyo and Beijing and Europe, and has consulted for some of the country's larger companies including Ford Motor Company, GM, Disney Corporation, McDonald's and Microsoft.
