IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC. Names Kohler Exec and Ex-NCR Leader to Board of Directors


SYCAMORE, IL--(Marketwired - Dec 13, 2016) - IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., a global, diversified family-owned business designing and manufacturing American-made superior products and tools for professional tradesmen across various industries, announced today the appointment of Christopher Baldwin, Kohler President, Kitchen & Bath Americas, and Peter Dorsman, retired Executive Services Vice President of NCR Corporation, to the IDEAL Board of Directors.

Baldwin currently serves as President, Kitchen & Bath Americas, a sector of Kohler Co., where he provides full-scope leadership to both the strategic and operational sides of the business, and oversees the division's marketing, product development, manufacturing, finance and human resources.

A seasoned leader with rich experience across disciplines including sales, marketing, new product and general management, Baldwin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Peter Dorsman, Retired Executive Services Vice President, NCR Corporation

In 2014, Dorsman retired as the Executive Vice President of Services for NCR Corporation, where he was responsible for all of NCR's global support services including on-site repair, depot, refurbishment, manufacturing and remote resolution. He was also responsible for NCR's Customer Experience/Continuous Improvement organization, eliminating $100 million+ annually of costs and dramatically improving customer loyalty ratings in all of NCR's targeted industries.

Dorsman has also been a member of the board of directors for Applied Industrial Technologies since 2004. During his tenure as director, he has served on the Audit Committee, provided guidance as the Lead Independent Director, chaired the the Corporate Governance Committee and is currently the Chariman of Executive Organization and Compensation Committee. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, dual major in business and journalism from Syracuse University.
