IDEASTOX Launches Wiki-Ideas

IDEASTOX Partners With Member Andrew Rouse to Make His Idea Happen; New Feature Enables Users to Open Up Ideas for Community Editing

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - September 15, 2008) - IDEASTOX, a new online community and toolset focused on helping to make people's ideas happen, announced today the launch of IDEASTOX Wiki-Ideas, conceived by IDEASTOX member Andrews Rouse from Austin, TX, profile name: "mouse," who is being made a shareholder in IDEASTOX for his innovative idea.

Wiki-Ideas gives IDEASTOX members the ability to participate in the development of ideas by allowing them to edit certain ideas on the site. IDEAuthors select whether or not they wish to have community members make edits to their idea when they publish it; thus creating a history of how each idea develops and who participates in the process, and most significantly capitalizing on the input of an objective audience.

"I've noticed so many great additions and suggestions on this site, posted as comments, that are really valuable extensions to the idea itself," said Mr. Rouse on the Wiki-Ideas page (

Once an edit is submitted, IDEASTOX automatically creates a tracked history of ideas: who contributed; which aspects; and at what point in time.

"We think Wiki-Ideas is another way of recognizing the multi-layered thinking that gets poured into creative thinking. IDEASTOX already has a system of credits; Wiki-Ideas pushes acknowledgement one step further by highlighting the specific contributions people make and documenting a potential DNA of reward," said Adrienne Becker, Founder and CEO, IDEASTOX. "To put our money where our mouth is, we are making Andrew Rouse a shareholder in IDEASTOX. We hope this example inspires companies, foundations and individual investors to embrace this new model of innovation."

IDEASTOX is a new website which helps people advance their life-inspired ideas from vision to reality. The parent company, IDEASTOX, LLC was formed in October 2007 and is based in Los Angeles. The Company is privately funded. For more information visit:
