Identity Automation Expands Footprint in Education Market With Key Wins in Q2 2016

Company Sees Triple Digit Sales Growth Driven by Large Scale Deployments of RapidIdentity as a Service

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwired - Aug 17, 2016) - Identity Automation, provider of the most scalable, full-lifecycle identity and access management (IAM) software on the market, announced new bookings of annual recurring revenue under contract has increased 139 percent year-over-year for Q2 2016. This growth was fueled by continued sales of RapidIdentity as a Service, a fully hosted and managed cloud-based IAM solution.

Unlike most IDaaS offerings that only provide web-based single sign-on (SSO), limited multi-factor authentication support, and some password management, RapidIdentity as a Service is a complete IAM offering, with the same capabilities as Identity Automation's popular on premise software, RapidIdentity. Regardless of the deployment model, RapidIdentity helps organizations securely provide systems access to internal and external users through SSO and multi-factor authentication, lock down privileged accounts, and automate identity management and compliance processes.

"Organizations of all types and sizes are looking to boost worker innovation, collaboration, and productivity with a growing number of cloud-based technologies and services. Unfortunately, the IT teams tasked with securely managing user access to these systems struggle to do so in a timely and cost-effective manner with their existing, legacy IAM systems," said James Litton, CEO of Identity Automation. "More than ever, organizations are coming to the unavoidable conclusion that they need to replace these systems with a more agile, scalable, and cost-effective solution. As a result, we continue to see strong interest in our modern identity and management software, RapidIdentity for on premise IAM and RapidIdentity as a Service."
