Idera Adds New Tools to SQL Server Administration Toolset

Free Public Beta Version of the SQL Admin Toolset Available for Download Now

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - April 29, 2008) - Idera, a leading provider of management and administration solutions for Microsoft SQL Server, today announced that two new tools have been added to the company's newest SQL Server management product, SQL admin toolset™. SQL admin toolset is a suite of 24 essential desktop tools for monitoring, troubleshooting, administering and reporting on Microsoft SQL Server. Thirteen of the twenty-four tools in the SQL admin toolset are available for download now in the free public beta version.

SQL admin toolset enables SQL Server database administrators and developers to dramatically reduce time spent on SQL Server administrative tasks, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and reporting. It also reduces the need to develop, test and maintain custom SQL Server scripts. Since the original announcement of the toolset in early April, Idera has had many thousands of downloads of the beta.

Pricing, Availability & Special Promotions:

Idera's SQL admin toolset is priced at $495 per copy and will be available within the next 90 days. A public beta version of the SQL admin toolset, which includes 13 of the 24 tools, is currently available for free download at www.idera.com/toolset.

Users of the public beta version who provide feedback will be able to purchase the final version at a discounted price of $195 per copy. As an added incentive to download and provide feedback on the public beta, Idera will be giving away ten Nintendo Wii's.       connection strings
