Idiot Pilot to Release "Heart Is Long" -- a Digital EP Featuring Brand-New Songs -- on iTunes on March 18th

BURBANK, CA--(Marketwire - March 12, 2008) - Fans currently grooving to the atmospheric rock of "Wolves," the current album from Reprise Records' Idiot Pilot, will now have new tracks to add to their collection. The Bellingham, WA, rock duo will release "Heart Is Long" -- a digital EP that contains three new songs, "Mercury," "Wolves," and "The Reigns," as well as a newly recorded acoustic version of "Last Chance," the lead-off track from "Wolves."

A version of the EP that includes the above-mentioned four tracks, plus the music video for "Retina and the Sky," the first single from "Wolves," will be available exclusively on iTunes beginning March 18th. A version without the video will be available from all online retailers beginning March 25th.

The acoustic recording of "Last Chance," is brand-new, while "Mercury," "Wolves," and "The Reigns" were all written and recorded during the studio sessions for "Wolves." Released digitally on October 2nd, "Wolves" was produced by Ross Robinson (At the Drive-In, Glassjaw) and Idiot Pilot's Daniel Anderson and Michael Harris, and co-produced by Mark Hoppus (bassist for +44, Blink-182).
