IDNR-TV Is Producing a Documentary on a Remarkable Phenomenon: The Trumpeter Swans' Return to Quebec

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 21, 2010) - Scientists, ornithologists and wildlife experts from Canada and Quebec recently spotted a unique phenomenon not seen in 150 years of Quebec history.

A special witness to this unique event, IDNR-TV is making a documentary about this truly remarkable phenomenon, which occurred, strangely enough, thanks to increased peripheral activities to revitalize certain mining sites.

The team at IDNR-TV, the only Canadian station specializing in the world of natural resources, was astonished and pleased to learn that this extremely rare species of bird recently took up residence in a former mining site in the Abitibian town of Joutel in one of the sites under the direct responsibility of Agnico-Eagle, a leading figure in Quebec's mining industry.

According to Ivor Barr, the chairman and CEO of IDNR-TV, this is a perfect example of social and environmental responsibility in Quebec's mining industry. The documentary, produced according to generally accepted journalistic standards, will be broadcast by IDNR-TV in the near future and will also form part of the 2011 edition of the Mining Film Festival.

IDNR-TV's management is currently in talks with the authorities about a considerable expansion of the channel's coverage area in Quebec and in Canada, which would make it a nationwide broadcaster.

IDNR-TV is also holding discussions with several national networks so that this unique documentary and other current productions can reach the broader public.

IDNR-TV is the only channel specifically specializing in all aspects of the natural resource industries in Quebec and throughout Canada.
