About IDO Security

Headquartered in New York with a subsidiary in Israel, IDO Security designs, develops and markets the patented MagShoe™ weapons metal detection system. MagShoe addresses a key vulnerability in walkthrough metal detectors and other screening technologies; other technologies stop just above the ankles when scanning for concealed weapons. MagShoe, a portable, user-friendly device extends metal detection to include the lower extremities, covering everything from four inches above the ankles to the bottoms of the feet -- without requiring passengers to remove their shoes, thanks to a patented "step-on" design.
