IDO Security Wins Austrian Tender and Supplies Multiple MagShoe Units to Vienna International Airport

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Aug 7, 2012) - IDO Security Inc. (OTCBB: IDOI), developer of the innovative MagShoe™ shoe scanning device (SSD), today announced that following its successful participation in a competitive tender of the Austrian Airports Authority, it has won the tender for multiple units of the MagShoe and has installed the units in the Vienna International Airport.

Vienna International Airport is an important hub recognized in worldwide air traffic as the primary airport for Central Europe. Vienna Airport was the point of arrival or departure for some 21.1 million passengers in 2011 with flights to more than 240 destinations, of which 40 are located in Eastern Europe.

Dani Werber, IDO Security's International Sales Manager, commented, "We are very pleased to have won this tender together with our local partner, EAS Envimet m. b. H. in one of our key target markets. This installation comes after a long period in which the MagShoe was tested and evaluated by the Authorities so the positive results are a great boost of confidence in our technology and the operative advantages it offers an airport as busy as Vienna Airport. We are capitalizing on our positive momentum from a great first half of the year, and making an aggressive marketing campaign now across four continents, through pilot programs, participation in trade shows and by enlisting new distributors to further extend our global sales network."
