IEEE-ISTO Announces New Chairman


PISCATAWAY, NJ--(Marketwire - December 21, 2010) - IEEE-ISTO announced today the election of a new Chairman of its Board of Directors. During a meeting held last week, Don Wright, a sitting IEEE-ISTO Director and Director of Standards for Lexmark International, was elected to assume the role of Chairman of IEEE-ISTO. Chairman Wright succeeds Gerald T. Lane, Director, Open Source and Standards Project Office for IBM, who has served as IEEE-ISTO Chairman since 2003 and has elected to step down at this time.

Since its inception, 36 programs have organized under the IEEE-ISTO Federation of Programs with participants from over 2500 companies," reflected Gerald T.
