iENA Nuremberg 2011 -- Leading International Trade Fair for Marketing Inventions, New Product Ideas, and Technical Solutions

October 27 - 30, 2011, Inventors From All Over the World Will Present Over 700 Individual Inventions at the Nuremburg Trade Fair

NUREMBERG, GERMANY--(Marketwire - Oct 3, 2011) - When it involves successful marketing of inventions and new product ideas, iENA Nuremberg, the main international trade fair "Ideas-Inventions-New Products", plays a central role as the globally leading professional trade fair. For the 63rd time from October 27th to 30th, 2011, the iENA will offer, predominantly to free-lance inventors, a much respected global forum for networking with investors, licensees, and marketing experts. At the iENA the course can be set for the effective marketing and business success of all types of inventions. This has been demonstrated by numerous products which were first introduced to the public at the iENA in Nuremberg, ranging from the skateboard and snowboard to wheeled suitcases, gliding curtain hooks, and child-proof electrical outlets.

The event organizer, AFAG Messen und Ausstellungen GmbH, expects well over 700 individual inventions this year. The trade fair's great degree of internationality is evident through national contributions from China, Iran, Russia, and Taiwan, along with numerous universities from Malaysia. Inventors' associations from Croatia, Poland, and Hungary, as well as participants from Romania, Egypt, China, Great Britain, Macedonia, Saudi Arabia, the Sudan, Syria, Turkey, and Yemen also underline the global significance of the iENA in Nuremberg.

Many associations and organizations specializing in inventing will be offering their support and advice at the trade fair on topics regarding intellectual property rights and successful marketing. In respect to this, the International Patent Information Center will be an important place to seek information. The governing body of the worldwide inventors' association IFIA (International Federation of Inventors Associations) will also provide information at the iENA. Under the theme "Green Inventions", the association announced a global competition on the topic of the environment, the award ceremony for which will take place on Sunday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. on the iENA stage in hall 12. The inventions submitted for the competition will be designated at the iENA by a green dot.

German inventors' clubs will present approximately 70 innovations at the SIGNO joint booth
For the 11th time, the German SIGNO inventors' clubs will be participating with the largest joint booth at the trade fair. The Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology's SIGNO sponsorship program (protecting ideas for commercial use) provides support for youth, as well as adults, in realizing and marketing their ideas. Around 70 innovations will be presented, with the youth clubs impressively displaying their creativity and wealth of ideas on a separate "youth platform".

iENA symposium "From creativity/invention to the market"
A permanent component of the iENA is the iENA symposium which has in past years always met with great interest. Prominent speakers will provide practical suggestions and valuable information about inventing. This year's topic is "From creativity/invention to the market".
