Ignite Solar, LLC Selected to Be Houston Technology Center's 1st Solar Company

HOUSTON, TX--(Marketwire - April 13, 2009) - Ignite Solar, LLC is pleased to announce their selection to become the first solar company client member of the highly respected Houston Technology Center (HTC).

Houston Technology Center (HTC), Greater Houston's business accelerator and the largest technology business incubator in Texas, announced today that Ignite Solar is the HTC's first solar company client member.

Mathey received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and an MBA from Rice University. Prior to founding Ignite Solar, Mathey served as a consultant in the solar industry for the deployment of large scale solar parks, as well as being a co-founder of a solar manufacturing operation. Mathey has over 20 years of experience in large scale operations across multiple industries including Solar, HVAC, oil and gas, fire rescue vehicles, and industrial equipment manufacturing.

Hansen received his BS in Mathematics from Georgetown University and holds a JD and MBA from The University of Texas. Prior to Co-Founding Ignite Solar, Hansen worked in renewable energy project development with Babcock & Brown following its acquisition of Superior Renewable Energy LLC where Hansen served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel. Since 2005, the group developed, acquired and financed wind power generation projects in California, New Mexico, Texas, South Dakota, and Pennsylvania with aggregate value of over $1Bn. Since 1995, while with Fulbright & Jaworski LLP, Credit Suisse First Boston and HFBE, Hansen participated in or supervised numerous Mergers and Acquisitions ("M&A") (over $9Bn in announced transactions) and Corporate Finance (over $2Bn in funding) transactions encompassing multiple industries for both private and public companies. As both an investment banker and practicing corporate attorney, Hansen has served as strategic advisor to companies from pre-incorporation to IPO.
