Ignition Entertainment to Publish Braid in Japan

Award Winning Title to Make Japanese Debut via PlayStation®Network

GLENDALE, CA--(Marketwire - May 25, 2010) - Ignition Entertainment Ltd., a UTV Enterprise, a worldwide publisher and developer of videogames, today announced that it is bringing the critically acclaimed Digital Download title Braid to PlayStation®Network in Japan during Spring 2010.

Braid is a puzzle-platform game, drawn in a painterly style, where you can manipulate the flow of time in strange and unusual ways. From a house in the city, journey to a series of worlds and solve puzzles to rescue an abducted princess. In each world, you have a different power to affect the way time behaves, and it is time's strangeness that creates the puzzles. The time behaviors include: the ability to rewind, objects that are immune to being rewound, time that is tied to space, parallel realities, time dilation, and perhaps more.

"We are delighted to be able to bring this classic title to the Japanese PlayStation Network market," commented Ajay Chadha, President of Worldwide Publishing for Ignition Entertainment. "Braid epitomizes everything we at Ignition look for when it comes to publishing Digital Download titles -- creativity, originality and of course great gameplay that keeps people coming back time and again."

"We believe Braid is a fantastic game," added Ian Wilkinson, President of Hothead Games, "and we are excited and proud to be partnered with a creative and dynamic company like Ignition to make it available on PlayStation Network in Japan."

Braid for Playstation Network is being developed by Hothead Games and will be available during Summer 2010. For more information on this and other great titles from Ignition, please visit
