AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Nov 9, 2011) - Wireless industry analyst Iain Gillott will host a dedicated presentation and host two panel discussions focused on small cell architectures at the RCR Wireless News Conference in Orange County at the Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa on November 10, 2011.

The RCR Wireless Conference will discuss developments of mobile networks around small cell technologies. Mr. Gillott will be hosting a dedicated presentation, chairing the afternoon sessions and serving as moderator for two panel discussions. Mr. Gillott's presentation, 'Analyst Angle: Consumer Use of WiFi in the Home & Implications for Femtocells,' will be held at 1:30PM PT. This presentation will analyze consumer behavior as it relates to bandwidth demand and the available technology choices for WiFi coverage in a home environment. Mr. Gillott's presentation will shed light on the market opportunity for small cell architectures to support this increasing bandwidth consumption.

Mr. Gillott will also serve as moderator for two panel discussions. The first panel, titled 'The Evolution of Smalls Cells & Intelligent Networks,' will explore the concept of heterogeneous networks, carriers' deployment strategies and challenges that arise when deploying self-optimizing, multi-layered networks. Powerwave Technologies CTO, Khurram P. Sheikh, and Mindspeed Technologies CTO, Jim Johnston, will serve as panelists and offer industry expertise.
