Now, Samsung SmartThings Users Can Directly Control iHome SmartPlugs for an Easier, More Efficient Smart Home

RAHWAY, NJ--(Marketwired - August 03, 2016) - iHome, a leader in award-winning speakers, portable devices and smart home control solutions, today announced that its SmartPlug products are now fully compatible with Samsung's SmartThings platform and app. Samsung SmartThings users will now be able to connect their iHome SmartPlug products to the SmartThings platform to monitor, control and automate their home via the SmartThings app. It is now easier than ever to create and maintain a smarter, safer and more energy efficient home.

Samsung SmartThings users can now simply purchase iHome's SmartPlug products and enable them work with the SmartThings app and ecosystem. They can then switch lights, fans, Room ACs or other small appliances plugged into a SmartPlug on and off through the SmartThings app, as well as set automation scenarios for them.
