Illinois Technology Association (ITA) Congratulates Cozad New Venture Competition Winners UTicketIT

ITA Supports Competition With Incubator Office Space for Winner of ITA Incubator Prize

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - March 23, 2010) -  The Illinois Technology Association (ITA) congratulates UTicketIT and founders Ashton and Ryan Clark, winners of the Cozad New Ventures Competition/Illinois Technology Association (ITA) Incubator Prize. UTicketIT receives space in ITA's TechNexus technology clubhouse for the summer of 2010, providing the opportunity for progressive collaboration with other entrepreneurs, start-ups, and technology industry leaders.

UTicketIT is the premier event management and registration website. The site's premise is simple. College and government associations, small businesses and even non-profits can use the site to create a central information hub for an upcoming event. Event promoters can post events on UTicketIT and once created, provide a central point for promotional blasts, fee management, and ticket distribution. The website is tentatively scheduled to launch in April 2010.

The CNVC is organized by the University of Illinois' Technology Entrepreneur Center and The Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership in Urbana-Champaign. The competition is designed to encourage students, researchers, and community members to create new sustainable businesses in the Champaign-Urbana area. Teams are invited to create a business plan around a topic of their choice with assistance in the areas of mentoring, workshops, and courses available to guide teams through each phase of development.
