NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - May 23, 2012) - Illusionist Dan Sperry will bring his outrageous style of shock illusion to audiences in Mexico and South America in the touring phenomenon "The Illusionists."
The tour of Mexico will kick off on Thursday, July 12 at the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, touted as the world's largest theater with just under 10,000 seats. Sperry will perform through Sunday, July 22. From there he will travel to Monterrey where he will perform at the Auditorio Banamex from Thursday, July 26 through Sunday, July 29. His last stop prior to heading on to South America will be for audiences at the Teatro Diana in Guadlajara from Thursday, August 2 through Sunday, August 5. Tour locations and dates for South America to be announced.

Sperry is often recognized for his viral popularity on YouTube as well as his appearance on season five of NBC's "America's Got Talent" in early 2010. After receiving more than one million views on a YouTube video entry, he captivated voters and sent judge Howie Mandel running into the stands. One week after performing on the show, Sperry was one of the top ten most Googled people as fans tried to search out more of his shocking talent.
Currently, Sperry calls New York City home, starring in his very own off-Broadway hit "MAGIC SHOW" in the heart of the theater district of Times Square. Guests can experience the unimaginable nightly as he uses razor blades, broken glass and more to create a whimsically entertaining non-stop roller coaster ride of pure mayhem.
When not performing in New York City, Sperry continues to be in-demand at venues throughout the world. Tour stops in earlier 2012 included the Sydney Opera House, the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and other sold-out appearances.
