PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwire - Apr 12, 2011) - iMANY, the leading provider of contract performance solutions, announced today an expanded leadership team aimed at accelerating its customer centric growth strategy. Effective immediately, Paul Winn, Chairman of the Board of Directors, will also assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Winn held the CEO role previously at the time of the company's acquisition by LLR Partners. The CEO role had previously been held by P. Kevin Kilroy. Mr. Kilroy is leaving iMANY for personal reasons.
Adding additional operational focus to the company, Mr. Winn has created a new leadership position -- President and Chief Operating Officer. Effective April 18, 2011, Al Smith, a seasoned high technology and software executive will assume the newly created role of President and Chief Operating Officer of iMANY. Mr. Smith will oversee all operating functions of the company -- Solution Development, Marketing, Sales, Professional Services and Customer Support. Mr. Smith will report directly to Mr. Winn. Kevin Harris, the company's Chief Financial Officer who is responsible for Finance, IT, Human Resources and Legal will also report to Mr. Winn.
Mr. Smith brings more than twenty years of Information Technology experience and success in growing software technology businesses. His cross-functional roles at IBM, Princeton Softech, Hewlett Packard, Bluestone Software and Astea International will be critical to enhancing iMANY's deployment of enterprise solutions and scaling the company's operations to support its growth strategy.
