imc2 Hosts 3rd Annual World Usability Day Focusing on Healthcare

Event to Be Held at Agency Headquarters, Showcases Significance of Usability in Improving Healthcare Around the World

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - November 5, 2007) - On November 8, imc2, a next-generation, digital marketing agency, in conjunction with locations around the world, will host the 3rd Annual World Usability Day (WUD), focusing on healthcare and usability. At more than 150 events in 35 countries and counting, World Usability Day brings together volunteers from corporations, organizations and universities to focus on how healthcare is impacted by design. Founded in 2005, World Usability Day is an initiative of the Usability Professionals' Association (UPA) created to ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.

imc2's WUD event theme "Usability: Past, Present and Future" will feature an interactive panel session between industry experts, case study presentations, on-site usability testing, a networking hour and usability tool demonstrations.

Worldwide, this year's campaign is expected to attract an even larger audience than previous years. In 2006, World Usability Day events attracted more than 40,000 people from 35 countries around the world. This year's events will draw attention to some of the key challenges and opportunities in healthcare today, from closing the gap in access inequity to decreasing the number of unnecessary deaths from medical errors.
