imc2 health & wellness Nabs Industry Veterans to Lead New York Office

David Garson and Nicole Rende Join Agency as Group Creative Director and VP, Client Services

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Jun 28, 2011) - imc2 health & wellness, a full-service strategic and creative agency, hired David Garson as a group creative director and Nicole Rende as vice president, client services to help lead its New York office. Garson reports to chief creative officer, Michael Davis, while Rende reports to senior vice president, general manager, Bonnie Sayers.

"We found two solid leaders to further expand the talent in our New York office," said Sayers, senior vice president, general manager, imc2 health & wellness. "Having new team members that have such a depth of global and AOR experience is the key to our continued evolution as an agency."

Garson, formerly a partner and creative director at The CementBloc, will lead the agency's New York creative team in delivering creative strategy, campaign ideas and innovative execution, while also assisting new business development initiatives. While at The CementBloc, he was responsible for managing several of the biggest creative groups and co-managing the global network on accounts that included pharmaceuticals, medical services, medical device, corporate branding and design.

Garson said, "In the last five years, I've watched traditional, full-service agencies try to build and integrate digital departments -- it always seemed to be an awkward and sometimes contentious process. I was attracted to imc2 health & wellness because it has turned that model on its ear. We are an agency with digital roots that is building-out its full-service capability. A former vice president and management director for New York's Draftfcb, Rende brings a wealth of account management experience to the client services role. Rende will lead the client services teams in New York and works closely with other senior leaders to expand the office's client base and enhance existing client relationships. Prior to Draftfcb, she was a partner at Ogilvy & Mather where she partnered with several pharmaceutical companies both US and globally. Prior to Ogilvy, she worked on consumer product goods, telecommunication and over-the-counter brands at Wunderman and BBDO.
