Linda Kay Brings Over 30 Years of Experience to the Agency

DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - October 13, 2010) - imc² health & wellness agency welcomes Linda Kay as the new medical science director. Linda comes to imc² health & wellness with nearly 30 years of clinical, medical and business education, training and experience. 

Her responsibilities at imc² health and wellness include leadership, support and expertise as it relates to strategy development, consumer- and HCP-targeted content development, and medical, legal and regulatory compliance. In addition, she will serve as the agency's medical and scientific information expert, while aiding the development and execution of scientific and educational messaging, such as consumer and HCP digital promotional materials, professional, continuing, patient education and adherence programs, and advocacy development.

Prior, Kay served as vice president, medical director at DraftFCB, Chicago, where she served as a strategic advisor to the agency's roster of pharmaceutical clients in the primary consumer therapeutic areas of dermatology, sleep and procurement.

She is an active clinical professor at the University of Illinois, Chicago and is a member of the American Medical Writers Association. In addition, Kay's writing has been published in industry journals such as Little Brown's Handbook of Drugs, Manual of Medical and Surgical Nursing and the American Academy of Dermatology, Symposia.

Linda's educational background includes receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees in science and doctorate in pharmacy from the University of Illinois at Chicago, as well as earning certifications in medical writing and editing.
