IMCA Elects New Officers, New Board Members for 2008

Garry Bridgeman, CIMA®, Named President

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - November 28, 2007) - The Investment Management Consultants Association (IMCA) has named Garry Bridgeman, CIMA®, president for 2008-2009. Betsy Piper/Bach, CIMA®, CFP®, was named vice president, and board members John Granzow, CIMA®, CPM, and Sam Paglioni, CIMA®, were elected to the positions of treasurer and secretary, respectively. In addition, three new members were elected to its Board of Directors. Each new board member will serve a two-year term beginning January 1st.

Mr. Bridgeman is a private wealth advisor and first vice president of investments with the Private Banking & Investment Group at Merrill Lynch in Atlanta, GA, and has been with this firm for over 27 years. He has served on Merrill Lynch's advisory council to senior management and as one of Merrill Lynch's lead media contacts in Atlanta. Mr. Bridgeman is a graduate of Indiana University. He also serves as a trustee to the University of Georgia's Foundation and a board member for the Metro Atlanta YMCA and Zoo Atlanta.

Newly elected to serve two-year terms on the IMCA board are the following three individuals:

Jeffrey Carlin, CFA®, is currently vice president, Investment Management Services -- National Sales with Charles Schwab & Co. Managed Accounts in San Francisco. He has been with Schwab since December 2002. Mr. Carlin supervised the growth of the managed account assets within Schwab Private Client by $7 billion in its first five years. Previously, Mr. Carlin served with Smith Barney and State Street Bank and Trust, both in California.

Claudia Cypher, CIMA®, CFP®, is currently with Wells Fargo Investments as vice president, senior financial consultant in Roseville, CA. She works with high-net-worth clients and small businesses to integrate financial planning and investment advisory services. Previously, Ms. Cypher worked with Merrill Lynch, EF Hutton, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Ms. Cypher earned a B.A. at Queen's University, Belfast, Northern Ireland. She is an active volunteer with the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and has been involved with Soroptomist International and Families First Foundation.

Scott Thayer, CIMA®, Mr. Thayer teaches in IMCA's Endowments and Foundations Certificate Program at The Wharton School and CIMA Level II program at both Wharton and Berkeley. He has contributed regularly to the IMCA Monitor and Journal of Investment Consulting. He is currently senior vice president -- Investments and Institutional Consulting for Citigroup Institutional Consulting in Santa Rosa, CA, where he started in 1983. His office focuses primarily on middle market foundation and endowment clients.
