IMG and the International Herald Tribune Celebrate 10 Years of Heritage Luxury

LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM--(Marketwire - Nov. 9, 2010) - The worlds of fashion and luxury came together this evening at London's most unique and exclusive venue, One Mayfair, in the heart of the West End, to celebrate 10 years of Heritage Luxury with IMG and the International Herald Tribune.

The party, hosted by Peter Levy, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, IMG Fashion Worldwide, Ivan Bart, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, IMG Models Worldwide, Suzy Menkes, Fashion Editor and Stephen Dunbar-Johnson, Publisher of the International Herald Tribune (IHT), took place on the first evening of the two-day conference which features the most important fashion and luxury industry designers, executives, editors and luminaries. 

This year's conference theme is Heritage Luxury, focusing on how luxury goods companies create, nurture and manage the heritage of their brands. Hosted by Suzy Menkes, Heritage Luxury is the 'must attend' event for international business and creative leaders, with talks by Karl Lagerfeld, Lanvin's Creative Director, Alber Elbez, Burberry's Christopher Bailey MBE, the Missoni sisters, Tommy Hilfiger, Sir Paul Smith, Victoria Beckham and many, many others.

Guests of the gala evening included Victoria Beckham, Tom Ford, Erin O'Conner, Sharleen Spiteri, Julian McDonald, and Jodie Harsh.

They enjoyed music from pianist Holly Lowe and danced the night away to tracks spun by model Daisy Lowe who took to the decks in the pulpit which was transformed into a DJ booth.

The conferences gala evening featured food by Urban Caprice including delicious Foie Gras from The Ivy, J Sheekey's Dorset crab; La Caprice's seared Yellow Fin Tuna, Daphne's artichoke and tomato biscotti and cocktails from Russian Standard Vodka, Hendricks Gin, Glennfiddich whiskey, Balvenie whiskey, Peroni and Veen water. Champagne was provided by Piper Heidsieck.
