IMG Consulting Awarded British Airways Sponsorship Account

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 15, 2009) - IMG Consulting, the world's leading marketing agency part of IMG, the premier sports, entertainment and media company, announced today that it will handle all aspects of British Airways' sponsorship activity -- effective immediately.

Over the last few months the airline undertook a rigorous sponsorship agency review and through a competitive pitch process awarded the account to IMG Consulting, recognizing IMG's experience, global network and creative ideas.

Working alongside British Airways' in-house global sponsorship and communication teams, IMG consulting is responsible for all aspects of British Airways sponsorship portfolio, from day-to-day sponsorship enquiries, through to the strategic planning and delivery of activation internally and externally.

IMG Consulting has an unrivalled global marketing team having worked with more than 60 sponsors over 20 years. IMG will develop British Airways' existing campaigns including 'the BA Great Britons Program,' as well as explore new opportunities to connect with the airlines key audiences using its international network to drive commercial return.
