NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Oct 8, 2013) - IMG Worldwide, the global sports, fashion and media company announced today that it will represent Colin Kaepernick, the NFL's San Francisco 49ers quarterback, for exclusive marketing, sponsorships and endorsements.
The 25-year-old, 6' 4", 230-pound Kaepernick has been heralded as one of the most spectacular athletes to emerge on the NFL scene.

Following a standout high school football and baseball career at Turlock (CA) Pitman HS, Kaepernick played football for the University of Nevada Wolf Pack where he was twice named Western Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year and was named MVP of the 2008 Humanitarian Bowl. He was the first quarterback in the history of Division I FBS to pass for more than 10,000 yards and rush for more than 4,000 yards in a college career.
Upon his graduation, Kaepernick signed with XAM Sports and Entertainment for his on-the-field representation and that relationship continues.
In the 2011 NFL Draft, the 49ers selected Kaepernick in the second round as the 36th overall pick. In the middle of the 2012 season, he filled in for injured starter Alex Smith and later became the full-time starter as the 49ers advanced to the NFL playoffs for the second straight season. After beating the Atlanta Falcons in the NFC Championship Game, Kaepernick led the 49ers to their first Super Bowl appearance since 1994.
