Lewis to Drive Forward Social Media Consultancy Model

LONDON--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2012) - Social media consultancy, immediate future, today announces the promotion of Adam Lewis to Managing Director.

'In the two years Adam has been on board, he has developed a collaborative, energetic and passionate team of first class consultants and I am confident he will continue to drive the business forward in his new role,' said immediate future founder, Katy Howell, who is stepping up to become CEO to give more time to the strategic development of the business she founded ten years ago.

'Adam is a natural problem solver and has created a range of innovative consultancy services including the provision of sophisticated social insight to guide marketing strategies, feasibility work to support the roll-out of social customer service, and a suite of online crisis management tools, launched 18 months ago with Sony Europe.'

Lewis says, 'I am thrilled by the opportunity to further drive forward our consultancy model. Our growth this year supports the demand for strategic support for senior marketers and the c-suite. We have a strong team of very talented people who are all passionate about helping brands succeed with social media.'

Current projects being overseen by Lewis include, helping an online retailer devise a social strategy for over 14 online brands, advising a global company how to connect with small business across EMEA using social and providing strategic counsel and hands-on coaching to Staples Europe as it undertakes three social pilots across the continent.

Lewis will assume responsibility for day-to-day running of the business, supported by Howell and two non-executive directors. Howell will continue to take a prominent role with clients providing strategic advice, as well as investing more time in thought leadership, product development and new business.
