Immersive Media and ACG Security, LLC Further Strategic Partnership with U.S. Army Contract

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Feb. 22, 2008) - Immersive Media Corp. (TSX VENTURE:IMC) ("IMC") is pleased to announce that it is expanding its strategic relationship with ACG Security, LLC (ACG) to provide its patented Immersive Video technology to the U.S. Army's Rapid Equipping Force. IMC's video technology, coupled with ACG's tactical operation capabilities, will provide the U.S. Army with the "best-of-breed" Terrestrial-Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (T-ISR) system. This Immersive Route Reconnaissance System (IRRS) will provide a superior situational awareness capability for vehicle-bound soldiers in combat. IRRS will be deployed in the Iraqi theater of operations by mid-2008.

"ACG is confident and excited about working with IMC to bring improved support to our troops on the ground," says Fred Kleibacker, CEO of ACG Security. "We've been impressed with the product evolution, both from the hardware and software perspectives that IMC has brought to our strategic relationship." ACG has been an IMC Certified Service Provider and Integrator for the federal market since March 2007, focusing its efforts in the defense sector.

In partnership with IMC, ACG is enhancing IMC's revolutionary Immersive Video technology for greater operational survivability, simplicity, and reliability in strenuous tactical environments. ACG chose IMC because of its superior Immersive technologies that provide high-resolution spherical video integrated with georeferenced data that is compatible with common GIS software.

"We look forward to this expanded strategic relationship with ACG to bring Immersive Video technology to the U.S. Forces," said Myles M. McGovern, President & CEO of Immersive Media Corp. "ACG's operational knowledge and tactical expertise will strengthen IMC's battlefield solution and also create incremental market opportunities."

In late 2006, the U.S. Army Rapid Equipping Force (REF), responding to a Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization (JIEDDO) requirement, contracted ACG to find, enhance, and deploy a 360-degree, georeferenced route reconnaissance video system to aid Warfighters hunting Improvised Explosive Devices (IED). The result was Bazaar - a tool that records the action surrounding a vehicle during missions. This data is used in operational and intelligence planning/analysis as well as training, and provides increased situational awareness from advanced spatial orientation. Bazaar equips the Warfighters with video for use in operational and intelligence planning while providing users the means to view, edit and review data that has been captured so that they can do their job in the battlefield with increased safety.

ACG was awarded the contract in February 2008 in order to make significant improvements to the Bazaar system that was deployed in 2007. You can see Immersive imagery at
