Immobilisation 2010 Inc. and its Subsidiaries Receive $350,000 From Government of Canada for Specialized Equipment

SAINT-GEORGES, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 6, 2011) - Acting on behalf of the Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, the Honourable Maxime Bernier, Minister of State (Small Business and Tourism), today announced the awarding of $350,000 in repayable financial assistance to Immobilisation 2010 Inc. for the acquisition of leading-edge equipment.

"The Government of Canada is pleased to support this project of Immobilisation 2010, a dynamic firm that is seeking to improve its strategic capabilities and productivity," said the Minister of State.

Immobilisation 2010 operates two subsidiaries, OSI Précision and OSI Machinerie. The first, a high-precision machining subcontractor, manufactures products for clients active in such sectors as mining, forestry and hydraulics. OSI Machinerie, for its part, makes equipment for companies operating in the secondary wood processing sector, notably manufacturers of hardwood flooring.

The drive and strategic vision of company's management team are behind this latest project. Indeed, the acquisition of two latest-generation machining centres will allow the enterprise not only to raise its capacity for manufacturing complex parts but also to create employment, make considerable gains in productivity and increase sales.

This funding has been granted through the Temporary Initiative for the Strengthening of Quebec's Forest Economies. The company's project is expected to lead to the creation, by 2012, of at least four new jobs in the Regional County Municipality of Beauce-Sartigan, an area hard hit by the crisis in the forest industry. This financial assistance, which will help increase the contribution of the materials processing sector to the region's economic activity, is a concrete example of the Government of Canada's determination to stimulate economic diversification and the creation of wealth.
