imPACTS(TM) and Kelly Government Solutions Win Multiple-Award DHS PACTS Contracts


ARLINGTON, VA--(Marketwire - October 20, 2009) - The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has awarded two IDIQ contracts under the Program Management, Administrative, Clerical, and Technical Services (PACTS) program to the imPACTS Team -- a joint venture that includes Kelly Government Solutions, the government services division of Kelly Services, Inc.

PACTS is a multiple-award contract with a $1.5 billion ceiling, and is set aside for Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs). This contract vehicle enables DHS to procure a variety of program management, administrative, clerical, and technical services for DHS.

The imPACTS Team was created specifically to provide high-quality professional services to DHS via the PACTS contract. The Team was awarded contracts in two PACTS Functional Categories: FC-3, Clerical services, and FC-4, Technical services. The potential period of performance is up to five years for each Functional Category. The PACTS awards enable imPACTS to compete for work in a broad range of services and solutions supporting DHS offices around the country and globally. As part of the imPACTS team, Kelly Government Solutions will be an integral part of supporting the imPACTS Team in its efforts to support the DHS mission.

In the two Functional Categories, imPACTS will provide personnel at all skill levels, from entry-level junior analysts to senior management and subject matter experts, in diverse professional domains. The scope of FC-3 (Clerical) includes general office support and secretarial duties such as document drafting, word processing, phone messaging, and mail services. These services are often procured to support field office work, call centers, and growing Department needs.

The scope of FC-4 (Technical) entails applying physical laws and principles of engineering, which may involve providing advice, preparing feasibility studies, preparing preliminary and final plans and designs, providing technical services during the construction or installation phase, inspecting and evaluating engineering projects, and related services that support new or existing projects and that explore technology to further secure the country. Kelly Government Solutions will support the imPACTS team in FC 3-Clerical and FC4-Technical Categories.
