ABOUT "SAY IT IN RUSSIAN"

"Say It In Russian" is an intense thriller about love, reconciliation and retribution playing against the violent backdrop of political turmoil and intrigue in modern day Russia. Boasting an impressive cast which includes Academy Award Winner Faye Dunaway, this film was featured last month as a main event of the Monte Carlo Television Festival.

While vacationing in Paris, an American businessman falls in love with a beautiful young Russian expatriate. Upon discovering her father's plans to secretly marry, the impetuous new couple leaves Paris to attend the wedding in Moscow. Destiny takes its own course and Andrew and Daria become involved in a hurricane of events surrounding Daria's father Raf, a former mafia oligarch, recently turned government official. Facing extreme pressures from the mob to use his political connections to free their boss and his former friend and colleague from jail, Raf is furious to learn of his daughter's return to Moscow. Daria's homecoming ignites a chain of violent events and suffering, escalating into the film's intense and emotional climax.

"Say It In Russian" stars Steven Brand (THE SCORPION KING) in the lead role of Andrew and Agata Gotova makes her U.S. lead role debut as Daria. European actor Rade Sherbedgia (SURFACE) and Alex Nesic (SLEEPER CELL) are cast in principal roles.
