LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 30, 2013) - Imperial Capital Group, LLC ("Imperial Capital") announced today the growth of its fixed income sales & trading business with the hiring of senior fixed income sales professionals designed to drive the franchise's fixed income capabilities to institutional investors in the US and the EEA. The strategic expansion includes the hiring of four senior sales hires in Imperial Capital, LLC, its US based investment banking platform, and Imperial Capital (International) LLP, its UK affiliate.

In the US, Imperial Capital, LLC's ("Imperial") High Yield Sales & Trading Group added veteran fixed income sales Managing Director, Kevin King, and its High Grade/Hybrid Sales & Trading Group hired senior fixed income professionals Jim Mannino and Peggy Turner, both Managing Directors. In addition, Imperial Capital (International) LLP ("Imperial UK") hired Sally Badie, a senior sales professional focused on fixed income for its European franchise.
Mr. Kevin King is a Managing Director in the High Yield Sales Group in New York and brings over 20 years of fixed income experience to Imperial's franchise. Prior to joining Imperial, Mr. King was a Managing Director at Barclays Capital Inc. Prior to Barclays, he was a Senior Vice President at Lehman Brothers. Mr. King also spent six years in London, four of which were as a Director for Deutsche Bank Securities, and two with Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette Securities Corporation with whom he had previously worked for in New York. Mr. King earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Villanova University.
Mr. Jim Mannino joins Imperial Capital as a Managing Director in the High Grade/Hybrid Sales Group in New York. With over 15 years of fixed income experience, Mr. Mannino was most recently a Managing Director at Knight Capital Group. Prior to Knight Capital, Mr. Mannino was a Director at Merrill Lynch in their fixed income sales and trading group. Mr. Mannino also spent a significant part of his career at Credit Suisse in their fixed income sales group and Dean Witter as a Municipal Bond Trader. Mr. Mannino earned an MBA from UCLA and a BA from Duke University.
Ms. Peggy Turner joins Imperial Capital as a Managing Director in the High Grade/Hybrid Sales Group in New York. With over 13 years of fixed income experience, Ms. Turner spent the bulk of her career at UBS Investment Bank on the investment grade sales desk and was most recently at Knight Capital Group. Ms. Turner earned a BA from Pepperdine University.
Ms. Sally Badie joins Imperial UK with 15 years of fixed income sales experience and as a Managing Director in Imperial UK's London office. Most recently, Ms. Badie was a Partner, Credit Hedge Fund Sales and Euro Credit Financial Trading at Chalkhill Partners LLP. In addition, Ms. Badie worked in Credit Hedge Fund Sales at the Royal Bank of Scotland in London as a Managing Director and for Christopher Street Capital (GFI Group). Ms. Badie spent the bulk of her career with Merrill Lynch International as a Director of Credit Hedge Fund Sales. She earned a BSc from the University of Warwick.
