Imperial Capital Announces the Formation of Imperial Capital (International) LLP Expanding Business Into the UK

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 10, 2011) - Imperial Capital Group, LLC ("Imperial) announced today that the firm has formed a new subsidiary, Imperial Capital (International) LLP ("Imperial Capital International) thereby opening an office in central London and expanding its franchise into the UK. The strategic location will initially be staffed with four senior sales & trading professionals recently hired from Aladdin Capital Management. This new group will focus on selling the entire credit spectrum and capital structure led by Brian Robertson who joins Imperial Capital International as a Managing Director. The senior hires and location will allow Imperial Capital International to further expand and strengthen its relationships with institutional clients and complement Imperial's existing fixed income sales and trading franchise.

Mr. Brian Robertson joins Imperial Capital International as a Managing Director with twenty years of securities experience in both New York and London with the bulk of his career spent at Bank of America as a Managing Director, Head of International Syndicate and prior to this at Lehman Brothers International as a Director, Credit Trading. Most recently, Brian was a Managing Director and Head of Sales & Trading in Aladdin Capital Management UK LLP's London Office. Brian earned a Master of Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania.

Also joining the Imperial Capital International sales team is Mr. Saro Bos who joins as a Senior Vice President. Prior to joining Imperial Capital International, Mr. Bos was a Trader with Aladdin Capital Management in its London Office. Previously, Mr. Bos was with Bank of America for eight years where he worked in London and Singapore as a Proprietary Trader on the Proprietary Credit Trading Desk focused on products like bonds, CDS, indices, CBs and Loans. Mr. Bos began his career as an Accountant at BDO Stoy Hayward in London where he earned his Chartered Accountant certification in The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

In addition, Mr. Desmond Chopping joins Imperial Capital International as a Senior Vice President. With 18 years in the securities business, Mr. Chopping most recently was with Aladdin Capital Management as a Director. Prior to this, Mr. Chopping was a Senior Credit Trader with Artesian Capital Management, Commerzbank London, ING Group and Bank Brussels Lambert London. In these positions, Mr. Chopping's experience included trading global bond and cds credit portfolio's spanning investment grade, high yield and distressed debt.

In addition, Mr. Denny Miyazaki-Ross joins Imperial Capital International as a Vice President. Formerly, Mr. Miyazaki-Ross was a sales professional with Aladdin Capital Management where he covered accounts selling the capital structure primarily focused on trading corporate bonds and bank capital securities. Mr. Miyazaki-Ross attended the University of Edinburgh.
