Imperial Capital, LLC Advises Hallcon Corporation in Its Acquisition by Southfield Capital Advisors

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 10, 2011) - Imperial Capital, LLC announced that it acted as exclusive financial advisor to Hallcon Corporation ("Hallcon" or the "Company") in its acquisition by Southfield Capital Advisors. Hallcon is one of the leading providers of specialty outsourced services to the railway and transit sectors in North America. Prior to the transaction, Hallcon was owned by Canadian private equity firm, PRIVEQ Capital Funds and senior management of the Company. The transaction provided for a successful exit for the Company's private equity sponsor and a partial liquidity event for senior management, who invested alongside Southfield Capital Advisors in the transaction and will continue running the business under its new ownership and capital structure.
