Implant Sciences Announces $380,000 in New Contracts for Its Quantum Sniffer Explosives Trace Detection Device

Systems to Be Delivered to Canada, India and China for Applications Including Air Cargo Screening

WILMINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - March 28, 2011) - Implant Sciences Corporation (PINKSHEETS: IMSC) (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, today announced that it has received orders for its Quantum Sniffer QS-H150 explosives trace detector totaling over $380,000. The Quantum Sniffer will be used in a range of applications including air cargo security, airport and aviation security, border control, law enforcement, public safety, and VIP security.

Implant Sciences' customers include armed police, counter terrorism units, border control, and airports in China, Canada and India. The Quantum Sniffer will be used at the International Horticultural Exposition 2011 XI'AN in Northwestern China. This expo will last 183 days and cover an area as large as 1,000 acres with an expected 12 million tourists coming through the exhibition.
