Implant Sciences Announces New Distributors in Mexico, Turkey, and Cyprus

Company Continues to Aggressively Expand Global Sales Channels

WILMINGTON, MA--(Marketwire - March 14, 2011) - Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCQB: IMSC) (PINKSHEETS: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, today announced the addition of three new international distributors: Provetecnia of Mexico; Labirent of Turkey; and Omega Risk International of Cyprus.

Provetecnia S.A. de C.V. has been a leading supplier of inspection systems in Mexico since 1984. Systems include explosives trace detection, x-ray machines, and metal detectors. The company has extensive experience providing equipment to a wide variety of locations where security is paramount, and will be focusing on aviation security opportunities in Mexico.

Labirent Building Automation and Electronic Systems, Ltd. is a leader in Turkey for electronics and security in buildings. Security equipment and services include explosives trace detection and explosives removal and disarming. Labirent's clients range from the national government of Turkey to leading global corporations with facilities in Turkey such as The Coca-Cola Company.
