Implant Sciences Signs Distribution Agreement With Security Detection Inc., Largest Supplier of Event Security Equipment in U.S.

WILMINGTON, MA and BOSTON, MA--(Marketwire - December 13, 2010) - Implant Sciences Corporation (PINKSHEETS: IMSC) (OTCQB: IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, and Security Detection Inc., a global firm that is the largest and most experienced supplier of event security equipment in the U.S, today announced an agreement for Security Detection to distribute Implant Sciences' equipment, including the Quantum Sniffer™ QS-H150 explosives trace detector (ETD).

This agreement significantly fortifies Implant Sciences' domestic and international distribution channels while making the Quantum Sniffer, one of the top selling portable ETDs, part of Security Detection's product offerings. Security Detection sells and rents the leading brands in security equipment globally. The company serves the security needs of many of the largest events in the U.S. including NBA and NFL games. Security Detection also provides security equipment for over 50 U.S. colleges and universities, hundreds of corporate and special events, and for over 30 dignitaries and political events.
