TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Oct. 9, 2013) - Eastmain Resources Inc. (TSX:ER) The management and directors of Eastmain Resources mourn the passing of Mr. William L. (Bill) Koyle. Bill passed away peacefully on October 2, 2013 in Switzerland with family and friends at his side. We offer our sincere condolences to his wife, Anne Marie Dawson, her daughter Emily and Bill's daughters Courtney and Camilla, his sister Janet and brother David, and their respective families.

An entrepreneur at heart, Bill was an innovator, founder, CEO and director of several enterprises in a variety of industries ranging from management and information technology to medical testing and clinical laboratories; from software development and e-commerce; to investment clubs and mining and exploration. Having attended the University of Western Ontario, and the Templeton College, University of Oxford, he was an insightful executive with endless expertise and accolades, which served him well on a number of public and private company boards. Bill served as Lead Director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Eastmain Resources for nine years.

As a huge supporter of history and veteran pilot, Bill was also Chairman of the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and a member of the Great War Flying Museum. He was a kind and generous man who gave tirelessly to his community and touched everyone in the many industries who had the pleasure of working with him.

"Through his intelligence and dignity, Bill made the world a much better place. He was a true gentlemen who deeply touched all of us who knew him", said Don Robinson. "Eastmain was privileged and honoured to have had Bill as one of our family. We will miss his charm and warmth".
