Inaugural Bunbury Music Festival, One Month Away

Jane's Addiction, Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie Headline Event


CINCINNATI, OH--(Marketwire - Jun 12, 2012) - The Bunbury Music Festival, recently named one of the "Top 10 Essential Summer Festivals" by Yahoo Music, will open one month from today from July 13-15 along Cincinnati's riverfront. In addition to previously announced headliners including Jane's Addiction, Weezer and Death Cab for Cutie, there will be more than 100 live performances on six stages over three days.

Tickets for the event are $46 for a one-day pass and $93 for a three-day pass and are on-sale at www.bunburyfestival.com/tickets. Additional performances and times for concerts will continue to be added to the website, www.bunburyfestival.com.

Friday's concerts will feature Minus the Bear, O.A.R, Foxy Shazam and Ra Ra Riot while Saturday's lineup will include Motion City Soundtrack, Manchester Orchestra, GroupLove RJD2 and Dan Deacon. Sunday's schedule also features Guided By Voices
and City and Colour.

Founded by veteran music and event promoter Bill Donabedian, Bunbury Music Festival will also feature an EcoMarket, a tech pavilion and an area for t-shirt and poster printers, called "Inkerton."

The name of the event comes from an Oscar Wilde play, "The Importance of Being Earnest" and means "to have a made up excuse to get out of doing something boring."
