Employees at Market Leading Security Software Company Worked Together to Raise Funds for Four Scholarships for Deserving Students at State University

BOSTON, MA--(Marketwired - September 15, 2014) - Courion®, the market leader in intelligent identity and access management (IAM), today announced the first-ever recipients of the CourionCares University of Massachusetts Scholarships. Employees at Courion, who are committed to community service, raised the funds needed for the four scholarships by giving their time and donations at the 2013 annual holiday charity auction held at the company's headquarters.

The 2014 CourionCares Scholarship winners, selected by the University of Massachusetts, include: William Boag, a senior at UMass Lowell who is majoring in Computer Science with a GPA of 4.00; Ryan Collette, a senior at UMass Boston who is majoring in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.94; Stephen Hicks, a junior at UMass Amherst who is majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a GPA of 3.55; and Phillip Igoe, a sophomore at UMass Dartmouth who is majoring in Computer Science with a GPA of 3.96.
