MONTREAL and MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Feb 11, 2013) - SPONSORIUM International, the leading sponsorship and community investment management software provider, has revealed the winners of its inaugural SPONSORIUM Awards, which celebrates the statistical performance of sponsorship campaigns across all sectors -- Sport, Culture, Entertainment, Media and Corporate Responsibility -- and honors companies from around the world who are improving the quality of community life in their local markets and globally.

Held at a dinner gala in Miami, last night's SPONSORIUM Awards was the first ever to be presented by SPONSORIUM and will become an annual event, a momentous occasion bestowing a prestigious recognition to companies in the Sponsorship and Community Investment industry who excel in cultivating partnerships that meet the highest level of their strategic objectives.

Top honors for achievement in Sponsorship were awarded to:

  • AT&T
  • Lloyd's Banking Group
  • Hydro-Québec

Top honors for achievement in Community Investment were awarded to:

  • Farm Credit Canada
  • Gaz Métro
  • Winn-Dixie

"The SPONSORIUM Awards are a valuable opportunity to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of companies which have all achieved success while setting the global standard in sponsorship and community investment evaluation," said Paul Pednault, Founder and President of SPONSORIUM. "Our Award recipients exemplify model behaviors in performance efficiency. It is the only sponsorship award in the world driven by actual performance against that criteria."

The winners were selected based on actual 2012 data that measured performance within these industries, rather than a potentially inconsistent voting system.
